Born and raised in Crossville, Tennessee, she attended Webster Conservatory in St. Louis, where she studied acting. Julie Ann Emery began her career at the age of 16 on the theatrical stage. Most recently she starred in "Boy Gets Girl" at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. In Chicago she received rave reviews in the title role of "Gypsy".
